Annual Governance Statement for the Governing Body of Dinting Church of England (VA) Church of England Primary School

September  2020

On behalf of the Board of Governors, I am delighted to present the Annual Report for the Academic Year 2020/21. This report will hopefully give you some insight into all that has gone on in Dinting Primary over what was a very busy, exciting and productive academic year. The school is very fortunate to have the support of so many people who give their time in different ways. I would like to take this opportunity to thank:

The staff for their continued professionalism and commitment to the pupils academically and pastorally.

Friends of Dinting School (FoDS) for their continued enthusiasm in organising and delivering fun activities; and contributing to the funds of the school such as towards the community-accessible defibrillator.

The Governors who volunteer their considerable time, skills and dedication for the benefit of the children and their community.

And finally but not least all you the parents and carers, without who’s support for your children, our staff and our school life, wouldn’t be the happy, safe and nurturing place we know it to be.

Best wishes,
Catherine Gee
Chair of Governors
